As a recently retired architect, I am now free to spend more time on my hobbies and passions: photography, gardening and of course, watercolor painting. Painting provides a great challenge and helps replace the creative outlet now that I am retired.
My father was a prolific oil painter and continued to paint into his 90’s. I learned a lot watching him over the years. When I decided to explore my own creativity, I elected watercolors. Landscapes were my father’s forte, and I currently choose to follow along in that same vein. Every day is a new learning experience.
